DLMS/COSEM – a core standard for interoperable smart metering systems
Introduction
This workshop provides an insight into the latest developments in smart metering standardization, and the role of the DLMS/COSEM specification (IEC 62056 / EN 13737-1). It gives a comprehensive understanding of how the needs of multi-utility, interoperable smart metering systems can be specified and how these needs can be met by using DLMS/COSEM. The principles of data modelling, messaging data and exchange will be presented with examples. An overview of projects and products will be given.
