Association
 | Gyozo Kmethy (04/06/2010 12:02): Dear Kalai, The current Association is always determined by the HDLC addresses. See Association LN associated_partners_id attribute. The process is the following: The Client sends an SNRM including the source and destination addresses equal to the client SAP and the required Server SAP. If an Association with those partner IDs exist,the server sends a UA with he same addresses. The client sends then an AARQ and if the proposed AA is acceptable, the server sends an AARE with values 'accepted". The Asocciation with the SAPs corresponding to the HDLC addresses becomes the current Association with E = 0. The associaiton_status attribute becomes (2) Associated. The client can read then the object list (if it does not know it yet) and can exchange data according to the access rights. Notice, that the other Associations may be visible from the Current Associations or not. In summary: one of the AA objects becomes the current Association ("I am the commander on duty now".
